Irshad is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and an Associate in Reinsurance (USA) with nearly 15 years of experience in the re/insurance industry across Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Sub-continent.

He currently serves as Council Member and Chair of the Education Committee at the Insurance Institute of Mauritius (A CII Affiliated Institute), contributing to the advancement and development of the insurance profession.

He is an accomplished Trainer , Public Speaker and Industry thought leader, having participated in various international forums on topics of Insurance, Reinsurance and Risk management. He has also been instrumental in capacity building and development of technical and professional courses of various levels for the Regional Insurance Industry .
